GOP Vows To Fire Who?
Here’s what could happen now.
If Americans are concerned about President Biden and the Democrats’ decision to hire an astounding 87,000 new IRS agents, Republicans have given voters a decision.
According to Fox, Republican House Minority Leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy has just told voters that if the Republican party is able to take the House following the midterm election, they will cancel President Biden’s plan to beef up the IRS with thousands of new IRS agents.
McCarthy’s comments came with a group of Republicans including Reps. Elise Stefanik and Steve Scalise.
During his speech McCarthy talked about a number of issues including gas prices and poor American education thanks to Democrats.
He then talked about Biden’s plan to beef up the IRS and said, “what we wanted to do was plan for a new direction. We want to be upfront with the American public. We want an election to have a contrast. If they put their trust in us, this is exactly what we’ll do. Hold our feet to the fire. And on the very first day, we’re going to repealĀ 87,000 IRS agents. So they’re not going after you. We work for you. You don’t work for us.”
One of the top Republican leaders in Congress has now openly vowed to repeal the 87,000 new IRS agents President Biden and the Democrats are planning to hire. Voters should remember this messaging when they are in the polling booths.
