Get Ready To Pay More At The Pump
Gas isn’t cheap.
The demand for oil worldwide has reached a record high. Sadly however, U.S. oil producers cannot catch up to make profits off the demand thanks to President Biden’s decision very early into his presidency to kill the Keystone Pipeline.
According to Fox, gas prices hit a record seven-year high to an astounding $3.41 per gallon and oil hit a whopping $92- per-barrel.
What’s worse is that not only did President Biden kill the Keystone Pipeline on his first day as president, but he continues to take apart America’s energy industry.
Recently, Democrats called on Biden’s Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm to limit natural gas exports. “We can’t let energy companies squeeze American consumers with unaffordable energy bills at home while reaping record profits through LNG exports abroad,” Sen. Elizabeth Warren stated. “The Department of Energy needs to reevaluate its LNG export policies and figure out how to keep prices low for American consumers. Until the Department has a plan, it should consider halting permit approvals of LNG export facilities.”
