Gates Takes Cheap Shot At Musk
Is someone jealous?
Microsoft founder and billionaire Bill Gates took a veiled shot at Tesla founder and CEO Elon Musk during a recent interview with BBC.
It has been long known that Musk and Gates do not have a good relationship between each other and Gates has also taken a massive $500 million short placed on Musk’s Tesla company.
According to Market Watch, both Gates and Musk are trying to fight climate change but in their own different ways. Gates however attempted to discredit Musk’s hard work when he indirectly claimed that there was nothing special about Tesla as a business and it isn’t infinitely valuable as a company.
Gates told the BBC, “The popularity of electric cars will lead to more competition for selling those cars. So there’s a difference between electric cars being adopted, and companies becoming infinitely valuable.“
It’s strange to see Bill Gates secretly wishing for the demise of Tesla especially since Tesla is the first electric vehicle to be sold to Americans and aims to fight climate change.
