Gas Prices Smash New Record
Americans have had enough.
Gas prices in the United States have reached a shocking new high once again this Sunday.
According to Breitbart, gas prices peaked once again to an all time high of $4.61 per gallon nationally. That is 50% higher than what prices were just one year ago.
The new gas prices surged due to a number of key reasons including tens of thousands of Americans traveling for their Memorial Day weekend holiday.
What is even more terrifying is that many experts believe the national average will even get as high as $6 by the end of summer.
GasBuddy’s Patrick De Haan explained, “I don’t think as many people are going to hit the road, and if they do, I think a good portion are going to be staying close to home.”
