Gas Price Disaster
Biden breaks another record.
Believe it or not, gas prices for Thanksgiving 2022 have hit an new record high under Joe Biden’s leadership.
According to Fox, AAA found that the national average price for a gallon of gasoline sits at $3.60. This is the highest price for a gallon of gas on Thanksgiving day that has ever been tracked since they first started tracking it in 2000.
Last year a gallon of gas sat at $3.40 and the last time it was ever that high was in 2012. Historically the national average for gasoline on Thanksgiving day is $2.50.
As for right now, gas prices overall are still and entire dollar higher than before the pandemic started in 2019.
After hitting the all time high of $5 per gallon in June, prices began to fall back down however they still aren’t what they used to.
With the geopolitical tensions in Ukraine and President Biden’s aggressive attitude towards big oil companies it’s unclear if gas prices will go any lower in the near future.
