Dems Defend Crumbling Economy
This is outrageous.
President Biden’s Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen recently sparked outrage with the American people after she bragged about the “strength” of the American economy. Yellen appears to have forget that under President Biden’s leadership the American economy is crumbling by the day and America’s enemies are growing more powerful.
During a recent interview with CNBC, Yellen claimed that there were no signs of weakness in the U.S. economy. She then attempted to back up her claims by touting the “immensely strong job market” and powerful consumer spending.
Yellen’s comments came after she was asked if there was any sign of weakness in the economy.
“I honestly don’t see it,” Yellen responded. “You know, we have an immensely strong job market. Growth over the last year has been extraordinary. Job creation remains very high. When you look at the balance sheet of the typical American family, it is in very good shape. Consumer spending is strong. And tax revenues have, frankly, been surprising to the upside, you know, helping us in our plan to reduce deficits. We’ll be reducing the budget shortly. So, I see a lot of strength in the American economy. Inflation is high, and, you know, the Fed certainly has a role to play there.”
“We’ve got a good, strong U.S. economy,” Yellen added.
