Seniors Forced Out Of Retirement

Rising prices caused by inflation that Joe Biden and the Democrats are responsible for is now forcing America’s senior citizens to rethink their retirement plans.

According to Fox, a large majority of Americans are planning to remain in the workforce for longer than they originally hoped for or have abandoned the idea of retirement altogether.

Some older Americans are also now considering taking on gig work to fill the financial gaps that are causing them financial distress.

AARP’s Carly Roszkowski explained, “With inflation and the cost of living weighing on people’s minds, many older adults are choosing to delay retirement.”

AARP found that 27% of Americans who are 40 and older are deciding to work freelance often referred to a gig work. Of the 27% of Americans 89% of them admitted that their primary motivation for working independently was to make extra money and have flexible hours.

“For those that retired during the pandemic and have returned or are considering returning to the workforce, gig or freelance jobs are often appealing because they provide people the opportunity to set their own hours and be their own boss,” Roszkowski added.

President Biden’s inflation is now hurting one of the most vulnerable groups in America: our senior citizens. Republicans and Democrats cannot do anything to endanger social security benefits.
