Biden’s IRS Accused Of Racism
A legal group is now accusing President Biden’s IRS of specifically targeting White and Asian Americans with audits by using the cover of “racial equity.”
According to Fox, the nonprofit group, America First Legal Foundation (AFL), who are fighting against excessive overreach have filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to determine if Biden and the IRS really are targeting specific groups of Americans based on race.
The AFL is claiming that President Biden’s administration “intends to alter Internal Revenue Service’s audit algorithms to target white, Asian, or mixed-race taxpayers.”
On February 16th, President Biden signed the new order and instructed all federal agencies to create an “equity action plan” which aims to remove barriers to agency resources for lower class communities.
The nonprofit group is now asking for any and all records of communication between the Treasury Department and the IRS for matters “referring to ‘discrimination,’ ‘discriminatory,’ ‘race,’ ‘racial,’ ‘ethnicity,’ ‘color,’ ‘BIPOC,’ ‘Asian’ ‘Indigenous,’ ‘Black,’ ‘Brown,’ or ‘White’ on the one hand, and ‘audit,’ ‘enforcement,’ ‘NRP,’ ‘RAAS,’ ‘algorithmic,’ ‘selection,’ ‘sampling,’ or ‘strata,’ on the other.”
President Biden nor the IRS have released any statements about this new move by the America First Legal Foundation.
