Thanks to inflation caused by the Biden Administration, it is expected that your Christmas dinner will now cost 16.4% more than it did in the previous years.
According to Fox, Datasemby calculated that your holiday dinner grocery basket will have an average cost of $60.29 which is 16.4% more than last years price.
Datasembly analyzed this cost by examining 13 unique products across a variety of popular retailers such as Kroger, Target and Walmart.
They examined the cost of stuffing mix, corn, green beans, frozen apple pie, whipped topping, butter, cranberry sauce, bone-in spiral-cut ham, egg nog, homestyle biscuits, russet potatoes, white frozen young turkey and more.
biscuits had the highest price increase of 47.7% and butter and russet potatoes rose by 38% and 32.6%.
The lowest price increase was forĀ frozen whole turkey which increased by 6.3%.
We know President Biden’s inflation has been rough on Americans for a long time now however this years Christmas dinner is going to be the costly dinner in decades.
