Cheapest Days To Get Gas

Don’t fill up on the wrong day!

Compared to this time last year, gas prices are up by an astounding 50% and they are expected to rise even further. If you drive a gas powered vehicle there is nothing you can do to avoid paying high gas prices. Thankfully however, there are some days which are better than others to fill up your tank to save some extra money.

According to Fox Business, Mondays happen to be the best days to fill up your tank. In data collected by GasBuddy, it found that Monday “offers the lowest average gas prices” in about 17 states. 

While it is unclear what 2022 will bring, GasBuddy also found Friday to be one of the cheapest days to fill up as well.

GasBuddy’s Patrick De Haan stated, “Even though there is variation in daily gas prices across different states, the consensus is that filling up at the beginning or end of the work week, on Monday or Friday, is the best way to save money.”
