CEO Gets Political, Threatens Red State
Here’s what happened…
CEO Mark Benioff of Salesforce, a cloud-based software company, has just called out the state of Texas and told all of his company’s employees that live in Texas he will help them move out if they want to over the new heartbeat abortion law.
According to Fox Business, Benioff took to twitter and wrote, “Ohana if you want to move we’ll help you exit TX. Your choice. We stand with all of our women at Salesforce and everywhere.” Ohana means “extended family” in Hawaiian.
“These are incredibly personal issues that directly impact many of us — especially women,” the message added. “We recognize and respect that we all have deeply held and different perspectives.”
Furthermore, the message said, “With that being said, if you have concerns about access to reproductive healthcare in your state, Salesforce will help relocate you and members of your immediate family.”

California’s Governor Gavin Newsom then responded to Benioff’s message and said, “Welcome to California.“

Currently businesses are racing out of California to avoid the extremely high taxes placed upon them by Newsom’s leadership.
