In a surprising turn of events, Tesla has just signed a new battery material supply deals which two companies that are based in China according to new filings.
This is a major concern for Americans because it shows that Tesla CEO Elon Musk is building an even tighter relationship with Communist China.
According to Electrek, Tesla just secured a battery material supply deals with two very large Chinese companies and will ensure battery supplies to Tesla vehicles for several years to come.
Currently, batteries are in very high demand as several new automakers are looking to jump into the electric vehicle business. Musk doing business with China has drawn concern from American leaders who believe that Musk should be encouraging business here in the United States instead.
Musk has heavily praised China in the past about their push for green energy.
Few seem to realize that China is leading the world in renewable energy generation and electric vehicles. Whatever you may think of China, this is simply a fact.
