Biden’s Final Decision On Student Loans
Here’s what will likely happen…
As the pandemic moratorium on student loan payments is expected to end, President Biden and the White House will most likely be forgiving up to $10,000 in student debt for borrowers who earn less than $125,000 per year.
According to Newsmax, the White House is positioning itself to announce their decision sometime this week since the pause in student loans debt payments is about to restart.
Biden will likely forgive $10,000 in student debt for Americans who earn less that $125,000 per year.
Biden’s Education Secretary Miguel Cardona explained, “We have been talking daily about this. I can tell you that the American people will hear within the next week or so from the president and the Department of Education on what we will be doing around that.”
Cardona added that the American people “will hear directly from us because we recognize this is an important issue around the country.”
It’s important to remember this decision is not official yet because President Biden hasn’t announced it however it is highly likely that he will.
