Biden’s Plan To Cripple Russia
This would be big if Biden actually does it.
President Biden’s White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki has just announced that Biden has not ruled out plans to hit Putin hard than ever before and sanction Russian oil imports as Ukraine continues to get invaded.
According to Fox, Psaki told media sources, “They have serious financial problems on the ground in Russia that is impacting President Putin and the circle around him. What he also looks at, though, and we were very cognizant of, is minimizing the impact on the global markets and the American people.”
“So we have not taken options off the table, including the one you mentioned, but that is something the president looks very closely at,” Psaki added.
Psaki was then asked about the Keystone Pipeline and stated, “This Keystone pipeline, it would take years for that to have an impact on prices. Obviously, there are a range of reasons why the president opposes it, but it wasn’t functioning, isn’t functioning. It would take years. There are also 9000 approved oil leases that oil companies are not tapping into.”
President Biden and most politicians know that cutting off the import of Russian oil would be a major detriment to Vladimir Putin, however it is important to understand that this decision would greatly impact the American people as well because it would make the cost of gas substantially higher.
