Biden’s Economy Destroys This Blue Collar Job
This definitely isn’t good.
New data analysis has found that trucking jobs have decreased under Joe Biden’s presidency and the United States’ trucker shortage continues to progress.
According to Fox, the trucking transportation sector had around 1,580,800 employees in September however the prior month the same sector had 1,592,200 employees. This means that the trucking industry had 11,400 jobs lost in just a single month and the problem continues to get worse.
Chief economist for the American Trucking Associations Bob Costello explained, “DOL reported today that for-hire trucking shed 11,400 jobs in Sept. Excluding Apr’2020, that was the largest decrease since Apr’09. It suggests that small fleets are folding and/or fleets are right sizing, but it should ease overcapacity fears, which I don’t subscribe to.”
This loss in truckers is likely due to President Biden’s pandemic woes. The supply chain was fiercely disrupted and President Biden’s transportation secretary Pete Buttigieg was ineffective at getting the supply chain going again after the pandemic ended.
