Biden’s Blame Game Backfires

by Market FinancePosted onMarch 17, 2022March 17, 2022

Biden keeps losing.

President Biden recently blamed Russian President Vladimir Putin for the massive spike in oil prices across the United States and Americans aren’t buying it.

Now, Biden has decided to try and blame big U.S. energy companies since people aren’t buying his BS excuses.

According to Fox, Biden recently took to social media and said, “Oil prices are decreasing, gas prices should too. Last time oil was $96 a barrel, gas was $3.62 a gallon. Now it’s $4.31.  Oil and gas companies shouldn’t pad their profits at the expense of hardworking Americans.”

Biden was immediately called out for his lying tweet by Javier Blas who is a financial data and news expert proving that Biden is spreading misinformation.

“I see the White House chart is sourced to Bloomberg LP data. As a public service, I’m going to suggest a different chart. Mine has some of the same elements (WTI oil and retail US gasoline price), but instead, I normalized it, and use Dec 1, 2021, = 100,” Blas explained.

Blas’ chart shows the exact opposite of what President Biden is claiming on twitter. Futhermore, the second chart which was provided by Blas shows that oil companies have actually not passed the the cost of the crude price on to the American people but rather the oil refiners have to foot the bill. It also shows that big oil companies are actually making less money, not more like Biden is claiming.

Americans can’t take much more of Biden’s lies.
