Should Biden Ask Trump For Help To Fix The U.S. Economy?
Dems Flip On Biden, Admit He’s Begging
In a surprising turn of events, Democrat Rep. Ro Khanna slammed President Biden for his upcoming plan to visit Saudi Arabia’s crown prince Mohammed bin Salman. Khanna is arguing that Biden is going back on his promise to turn Saudi Arabia into a pariah state.
Khanna even went as far as saying that it was ironic to see President Biden “begging Saudi Arabia for oil” even though Biden is exporting American oil overseas to other countries.
According to Fox, Khanna explained, “First of all, look, the crown prince MBS hacked an American journalist to death – [Jamal] Khashoggi – and there was legitimate bipartisan outrage. The president ran saying he was going to make Saudi Arabia a pariah state, that he was not going to engage MBS. They’re still engaged in a brutal war in Yemen.”
Khanna then said, “And I don’t think that he should go meet with MBS until MBS takes some accountability for the murder of the American journalist and until they bring the war to Yemen to an end. But look at the irony. We’re going in begging Saudi Arabia for oil while we’re exporting our own oil around the world. I mean, it makes no sense. And the Saudis are going to play us. I don’t I have no confidence that the Saudis are going to do something that’s actually going to bring prices down in this country.”
