Biden Steals Your Sandwich
Uh-oh!
If you love squirting a dash of mustard on your favorite sandwich or hotdog, it looks like that may soon not be a possibility because of more supply chain issues.
According to NBC, because of a shortage in seeds spanning back to 2021 there is now a shortage of mustard supplies in France and the United States is next.
Furthermore, with Canada being the number one producer of mustard seeds, severe hot weather in southern Canada has resulted in a massive shortage in production as well.
France’s largest mustard producer Reine de Dijon explained, “We’re in a crisis we haven’t seen for 25 years. The price of seeds has gone up three or four times, and maybe five times soon. And, on top of that, there is no supply. The scarcity is such that we have a potential 50 percent decrease in seeds … so our production is down 50 percent.
It looks like a number of issues from supply chain disruptions thanks to the Biden administration to unfavorable weather conditions has now caused a mustard shortage.
