Biden Steals Credit From GOP Governor
Biden taking GOP achievements?
President Biden is now celebrating automaker Hyundai’s new investment in the state of Georgia and acting like it was his own accomplishment which will create thousands of new jobs. Biden did this even though in 2021 he urged the MLB to move their All-Star Game out of Atlanta which hurt hundreds of jobs.
According to Fox, President Biden celebrated Republican Governor Brian Kemp’s accomplishment and said the he was excited about Hyundai’s new manufacturing plant which will be operational in 2025 and create thousands of new jobs.
Biden stated, “Hyundai’s commitment to invest more than $5 billion and create more than 8,000 jobs making electric vehicles and batteries will help boost the entire community around Bryan County with good jobs people can raise a family on, and ultimately help lower costs for the American people. This has been at the heart of the historic legislation we have passed over the past two years, and the last thing we should do is repeal it as Republicans in Congress want to do.”
Hyundai’s new plant will create 8,100 jobs and they will make more than 300,000 electric vehicles.
This celebration by President Biden seems strange since in 2021 he actively worked to take business away from the people of Georgia by forcing the MLB’s All-Star Game to another state over voting laws.
Biden attacked Georgia and said, “Imagine passing a law saying you cannot provide water or food for someone standing in line to vote, can’t do that? C’mon! Or you’re going to close a polling place at 5 o’clock when working people just get off? This is all about keeping working folks and ordinary folks that I grew up with from being able to vote.”
