Biden Tells Seniors To “Pay Up”
This is terrifying.
In a shocking turn of events, senior citizens living in retirement homes in California have just been informed that their rent is set to increase by an astounding $1,000 per month which has sparked outrage from the surrounding community.
According to Fox Business, Murrieta resident Yvonne Collins whose parents live in the Paradise Village retirement home were just sent a letter telling her that they would be required to pay an additional $1,000 in rent each month.
“They couldn’t believe it. My mom was like, ‘The rent’s going to go up $1,000’ – and I’m like, ‘That has to be a mistake.’ Nobody does that. Then I took a look at the newsletter – and sure enough, it was true,” Collins explained.
Paradise Village management told their residents that starting this October that seniors who live in a two person unit will have to pay up $1,000 more a month and and all residents will be forced to pay up at least $100 more.
This is all a result of hyper-inflation which has been brought on by Joe Biden’s presidency and the Democrats.
“I’m livid. I cannot believe someone would do this. My mom and her husband are 85 years old, on a fixed income. Most of the people in there are between 80 — I’ve met people who are 95. They’re not going to go get a second job. There’s no way for them to increase their income when they’ve governed themselves on a certain budget,” Collins added.
