Biden Sabotages Oil Production
How irresponsible.
The Biden Administration is currently running the country and America needs oil. So why is that President Biden and his team have not yet corrected a mathematical error in their oil and gas permitting review process which has caused a backlog and decrease in U.S. oil production?
Seems crazy right? A simple mathematical error is prevent the United States from producing more oil.
According to Fox, the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) admitted in April that they made a mistake is their calculations when it came to offshore oil production however the error has yet to be fixed 7 months later.
The National Ocean Industries Association (NOIA) called out the NMFS and said, “These permitting delays have a real impact on the industry’s ability to safely and efficiently explore, drill and produce energy in the offshore sector. It is a significant concern when it comes to not just energy production, but when it comes to ensuring that investment stays in the U.S. and that we can maintain the jobs, the high-paying jobs that go along with this activity.”
NOIA further explained, “We’ve heard specifically from companies that — without getting these permits process in a timely manner, they’re not able to do the seismic work which is required for them to move forward with their exploration and drilling plans, which means that they’re delayed in moving forward with their programs. It holds back production and investment in the U.S.”
Is the Biden administration intentionally not addressing a simple math error and keeping the United States from producing as much oil as it can? While the answers are not clear it certainly looks like it.
