Biden Handed Big Defeat
It finally happened!
In one of the biggest losses to President Biden yet, The Supreme Court has just decided to block President Biden’s ability to mandate vaccines for businesses with 100 or more employees.
Sadly however, things didn’t go as well as conservatives had hoped for because the Supreme Court did allow the Biden administration to mandate vaccines for certain health care workers.
According to Fox, President Biden worked with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) to try enforce mandatory vaccines on businesses larger than 100 employees or they would have to submit to ridiculous testing standards.
The court ruled that OSHA did not have the authority to impose such a mandate because the Supreme Court claimed that OSHA “empowers the Secretary to set workplace safety standards, not broad public health measures.”
The Court further said in their ruling, “Although COVID-19 is a risk that occurs in many workplaces, it is not an occupational hazard in most. COVID–19 can and does spread at home, in schools, during sporting events, and everywhere else that people gather. That kind of universal risk is no different from the day-to-day dangers that all face from crime, air pollution, or any number of communicable diseases.”
