Biden Blocked From Forgiving Student Loans
Things are about to get ugly.
It has now been learned that the Pacific Legal Foundation (PLF), which is a nonprofit legal group, has just become the first group of people to challenge President Biden’s decision to forgive mass amounts of student loans for college loan debt holders.
According to Newsmax, the PLF just slapped President Biden’s administration with a federal lawsuit in the U.S. District Courts and are claiming that President Biden’s $400 billion executive order to forgive student debt is completely unconstitutional.
PLF attorney Caleb Kruckenberg broke the bad news to Biden and said in a statement, “It’s flagrantly illegal for the executive branch to create a … program by press release. And without statutory authority or even the basic notice and comment procedure for new regulations.”
Biden announced to forgive anywhere from $10,000 to $20,000 in student loan debt depending on a persons situation.
At the moment it is unclear if Biden will be stopped from forgiving student loan debt. However, it is clear that the PLF and a number of other organizations will fight to stop him.
