Biden Devastated By Worsening Labor Shortage
Uh-oh!
As the coronavirus pandemic continues to ravage some parts of the United States, President Joe Biden can’t seem to catch a break when it comes to the economy.
Reports are coming in that the labor shortage has just worsened with U.S. job openings hitting a record high for June as businesses just can’t seem find enough workers to fill their positions.
According to Fox Business, businesses seeking employment numbers rose by 590,000 to a whopping grand total of 10.073 million available job positions in the United States!
Surprisingly, even with more employers needing workers, several new workers were hired in June and almost 7 million workers were added to the work force.
The south had the greatest increase of new hires totaling in around 2.6 million.
Companies reported more than 10 million job openings in the month of June, well above estimates and a new record by far. About half as many people were fired in June vs the prior year, while a greater proportion of workers quit. On the face of it, this is a hot labor market pic.twitter.com/ro6KqxYgaU
