Are Biden and Democrats Taking Advantage Of Taxpayers?
Retail Giant Failing, Fires Workers
In a surprising turn of events, retail giant Walmart has decided to lay off around 200 corporate workers after they discovered that inflation thanks to President Biden has eaten away at their profits.
According to The Hill, Walmart’s decision to fire their corporate workers comes after consumer confidence hits a new low and inflation hits record highs.
In Walmart’s new fiscal update, they explained that rising food and gasoline costs are “affecting customers’ ability to spend on general merchandise categories and requiring more markdowns to move through the inventory.”
Thankfully these layoffs won’t affect their most vulnerable staff the front-line workers however it’s still not good news for the business.
“We’re updating our structure and evolving select roles to provide clarity and better position the company for a strong future,” a spokesperson for Walmart said.
