Biden spoke too soon.
In an attempt to convince Americans that the Biden Administration was running the country effectively, exactly one year ago President Biden and the White House celebrated that there was a 16-cent decrease for the cost of a Fourth of July barbecue.
Now it looks like Biden’s words have come back to haunt him because Americans are having to pay more than $10 on top what they used to pay this year just to have the same Independence Day barbecues.
According to Fox, Biden’s White House celebrated the 16-cent decline by writing on Twitter in 2021, “Planning a cookout this year? Ketchup on the news. According to the Farm Bureau, the cost of a 4th of July BBQ is down from last year. It’s a fact you must-hear(d). Hot dog, the Biden economic plan is working. And that’s something we can all relish.”
“Hot dog, the Biden economic plan is working,” is what they said.
Now as Fourth of July approaches for 2022, it has been found by the Farm Bureau that the same barbecue costs a whopping $10 more than what it did in 2021.
On average this year Americans are paying $69.68 for their favorite cookout foods such as cheeseburgers, pork chops, chicken breasts, potato salad, and more.
