Biden Causes Trucking Industry Collapse
This is horrible.
President Biden was humiliated after the American Trucking Associations President and CEO Chris Spear was forced to admit that the slow return to work is what has “exacerbating the supply chain’s ability to meet demand.”
During a recent interview with Fox, Spear explained that the reason the supply chain currently is bogged down is because the trucking industry simply has a “chronic shortage of talent” this has resulted in thousands upon thousands of pounds of cargo sitting at ports collecting dust.
“I think we are at the edge of a cliff right now,” Spear was forced to admit.
He then said, “I think a year of policies that have led us there generally stem from rewarding people not to return to work.”
Spears explained that there is a “chronic shortage of talent, not just in trucking where we’re short 81,000 drivers, but across every sector of employment.”
And sadly, Spears is not wrong. In November the United States had a record of 10.6 million job openings which went unfilled.
President Biden needs to address a number of key problems before he can even attempt to fix the supply chain crisis.
