A new survey has just learned that most Americans cannot afford to purchase a home for themselves thanks to the chaotic economy that President Biden has created.
According to The Hill, Fifty-five percent of U.S. homeowners have admitted that they would be financially unable to raise the money they need to buy their first home at the current prices and interest rates.
What’s shocking is that home prices have increased by an astounding 40 percent since the COVID-19 pandemic started and now homes are simply unaffordable to most Americans.
Redfin’s chief economist Daryl Fairweather explained, “I think that the psychology is different now, even compared with January of this year.”
What’s even more devastating to the American dream is that 87 percent of Americans are very concerned about home prices. Three-quarters of Americans believe that the average people can’t afford a home as well.
Fairweather added, “The money’s still there, but it’s a lot harder to get now.”
Homeownership has become a major concern for Americans who currently do not have a home. President Biden and the Democrats now have one more serious issue that they need to take care of however it is unclear if the issue will be addressed.
