Americans To Receive Smaller Tax Return
Here’s why…
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has just issued a warning to American taxpayers about a number of new changes that are going to be affecting their 2023 tax filing year.
One of the biggest changes is going to come to your tax return which will likely be smaller for the 2023 year than it was from your previous one.
According to NBC, Americans can expect a smaller tax return because there were no federal stimulus payments issued this year and most taxpayers already received their stimulus checks with their previous tax refunds.
The average tax refund increased in from $2,863 in 2021 to to $3,253 in 2022 now however Americans can expect a smaller than usual tax refund.
The IRS has also warned Americans to remember to report transactions that were $600 or more which were made on third party apps such as Venmo, Cashapp, Zelle and more.
President Biden and the Democrats weren’t joking when they said they were going to hire more than 80,000 new IRS agents to crack down on the American people.
