Relief In Sight For Americans This July 4th
Here’s what we know so far…
While gas prices are still tremendously high, Americans are getting some minor relief at the pump after gas prices appear to have dropped for the first time in two months just before the 4th of July weekend.
According to CBS, AAA spokesperson Andrew Gross explained, “The recent high prices may have led to a small drop in domestic gasoline demand as fewer drivers fueled up last week. This dip, coupled with less costly oil, has taken some steam out of surging pump prices. And this is happening right before drivers gas up for what AAA forecasts will be a busy July 4th travel weekend.”
On Tuesday the national average dropped by 5 cents to $4.97. As you may remember on Friday a single gallon of gas was $5 per gallon nationally.
National average down 6 cents since this tweet to $4.96/gal and is poised to continue falling this week. https://t.co/zPfODWHzk4
