Americans Rescued By Foreign Nations
They stepped up when Biden couldn’t
It now appears that major companies and foreign nations are stepping up to do President Biden’s job to fix the baby formula shortage which is currently plaguing the United States.
According to Axios, Nestle which is the owner of Gerber baby food has had to fly additional baby formula from Switzerland and the Netherlands to help American families get the baby formula they need.
Baby formula is essential to many new parents because 3 out of 4 babies are fed baby formula by the time they are six months old. President Biden’s supply chain shortage has left more than half of the States in country with a very low supply for baby formula causing panic.
Nestle shipped Gerber Good Start Extensive HA from the Netherlands and Alfamino from Switzerland. A Nestle spokesperson explained that they selected these two products because they “serve a critical medical purpose as they are for babies with cow’s milk protein allergies.”
“At Gerber, our mission is ‘anything for baby’ and we are absolutely committed to doing everything we can to help get parents and caregivers the formula they need so their babies can thrive,” Gerber said in a statement.
