Americans Getting 200 Dollar Stimulus

A new proposal which is expected to send money to millions of Americans has just been approved but with smaller payments than previously expected.
According to The Sun, the Indiana House passed a new bill that will give out $200 in rebates to people eligible from Indiana’s budget surplus.
Ever resident of Indiana who filed their tax return in 2020 or 2021 will get a refund. That’s it. Nothing else needs to be done by Indiana residents to receive their $200 checks.
Indiana’s Republican Governor Eric Holcomb explained, “This fulfills what I set out to accomplish when calling the General Assembly into special session in order to help Hoosiers hurting from historically high inflation.”
Originally, Holcomb intended to give out $225 to the people of Indiana but lawmakers agreed to lower to $200 for inflation-related reasons.
