President Biden decided to finally address inflation during a recent speech and began by explain to cameras that the American people are “really, really down” after a confusing two years of economic and social chaos.
According to the Associated Press, Biden sparked controversy after he contradicted a number of top CEO’s and economists by boldly claiming that a recession was “not inevitable.”
Then, rather than accepting any blame upon himself for that the economy, Biden said that he “inherited” a bad economy and he was working his hardest to fix it.
Biden stated, “People are really, really down.”
Biden then added, “Their need for mental health in America has skyrocketed because people have seen everything upset. Everything they’ve counted on upset. But most of it’s the consequence of what happened, what happened as a consequence of the, the COVID crisis.
Then when talking about a recession, Biden said, “First of all, it’s not inevitable. Secondly, we’re in a stronger position than any nation in the world to overcome this inflation.”
