American Workers Demanding How Much Per Year?
Welcome to Biden’s America.
A new study has found that the average American worker will not take a job if the salary is less than $74,000 per year or more!
According to Fox, the average reservation wage, which is the lowest amount a person would work for in a job, went from $72,873 in July to $73,667 in November.
Americans aged under 45 were more likely to ask for more money than those who were older.
It appears that the American mindset when it comes to finances has changed when dealing with inflation that has been caused by President Biden and the Democrats.
Finance professor at the University of San Diego Dan Roccato explained, “Many of our fellow workers are feeling pinched from inflation. 48% of young adults are living with mom and dad.”
“That’s not good. We need to get them out working… America works when Americans work. And right now, not enough of us are out there working,” he added.
As of right now employers are struggling to find workers and the fact that Americans are now asking for more money means things won’t improve much sooner.
