American Middle Class Hits Rock Bottom
Joe Biden does it again.
According to a recent survey conducted by Monmouth University, the policies implemented by the Biden administration are not providing any benefits to American middle-class families, who tend to serve in the military and pay a significant portion of their income in federal taxes.
According to Breitbart, a mere 10% of Americans believe that the middle class has received significant benefits, whereas a majority of 51% believe that the middle class has not benefited at all, as per recent findings.
According to the poll, there has been a decline in the numbers under President Joe Biden’s leadership. In the initial months of his term, 19% of people believed that the middle class benefited a lot, and only 36% believed that they did not benefit at all. However, as of the recent findings, the percentage of people who believe that the middle class has not benefited at all has increased to 51%.
Patrick Murray, the Director of the independent Monmouth University Polling Institute, criticized President Biden for not fulfilling his campaign promise, as per recent reports.
“Biden’s appeal when he ran for president was that he understands the average Joe. Reaction to his policy agenda, however, suggests it is an area where he remains weak,” Murray explained.
As per the poll results, a significant percentage of Americans, approximately 38%, consider themselves to be a part of the middle class. Around 29% of people identify as working class, which can also be considered a part of the middle class. Only 16% of people consider themselves to be part of the upper middle or higher class, while 14% describe themselves as poor.
As per recent surveys, a higher number of Americans are claiming to be financially struggling under the Biden administration as compared to the years under the Trump administration.
