Amazon Tanks Bitcoin
If you’ve invested in bitcoin, Amazon just rained on your parade.
Bitcoin surged recently after rumors swirled that they would accept bitcoin payments by the end of the year.
Now according to Yahoo, new details have emerged that show those rumors were false.
An amazon spokesperson recently told CoinDesk via email, “Notwithstanding our interest in the space, the speculation that has ensued around our specific plans for cryptocurrencies is not true. We remain focused on exploring what this could look like for customers shopping on Amazon.”
Bitcoin has been very volatile within the last 2 weeks and currently sits at around $37,000.
