Biden’s Christmas Surprise For Americans
Americans can’t catch a break.
President Biden has one more gift to give Americans before the year ends and it’s more expensive Christmas trees.
It has now been learned that Christmas tree growers have issued a warning to the American people that prices for trees will now be higher than expected due to economic instability and environmental conditions.
According to The Hill, American Christmas Tree Association Executive Director Jami Warner explained, “Because inflation impacts absolutely everything, the industry is seeing increases in shipping costs, fertilizer, trucking, everything you can possibly think of, whether it be real or artificial trees. So I think consumers can expect to see anywhere from 5 percent to 20 percent increases across the board on artificial and live Christmas trees this year.”
It doesn’t end there. The Christmas tree growers also warned that the variety of Christmas trees will also be lower than expected as well.
“People are used to abundance and choice — and again, the choices will be limited, but choose the tree that fits your lifestyle the best, be it real or artificial,” Warner warned.
Christmas tree farms are also expected to sell out of trees faster so Americans should not hesitate to purchase their Christmas trees early this year.
