While President Biden and the Democrats didn’t do much to stop inflation, prices cannot rise forever and will eventually have to slow down.
Reports are now circulating that inflation is finally beginning to slow down however that is not the case for a number of cities.
According to Fox, the Labor Department found that the consumer price index for things such as goods including gasoline, groceries and rents increased by 7.7% compared to last year.
Now, new data shows that some cities ended paying way more than 7.7%.
The cities which are still a hotbed for inflation are: Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, Idaho and Montana where the rate of inflation is at 9.3%.
It’s even worse for Phoenix which has an inflation rate of 12.1%!
Cities in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia had an average inflation rate of 8.3%.
