Americans Need This Much To Retire

President Biden and the Democrats have tormented the United States economy for what seems like forever now. Americans who are expecting to retire soon know that they simply cannot live off other their social security checks and will need to have money saved for the future.

According to CNBC, financial experts from Northwestern Mutual have calculated that Americans will need a whopping $1.25 million to retire comfortably. This is a 20% increase from the $1.05 million calculation which was made last year.

What’s sad about this is that a lot of Americans are not even close to that number. The average retirement savings amount has decreased 11% to $86,869 when compared to last year which was $98,800.

Chief financial analyst at Bankrate.com Greg McBride noted, “The closer you get to retirement, the more likely you are to say that that is your biggest financial regret.”
