9 States With The Most Expensive Gas
Some Americans are paying more than others.
The Republican Governors Association (RGA) recently released a report detailing some of the highest gas paying states in the country.
The organization recent stated, “The new data comes just days after 25 Republican governors called on the White House to reverse energy policies that have kneecapped America’s domestic energy production. Experts say the rising cost of gas is related to the effect Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has on foreign oil supplies the Biden Administration has come to rely on.”
As of Monday morning, the states with the highest gas prices were:
- California ($5.28)
- Hawaii ($4.69)

- Illinois ($4.26)
- Connecticut ($4.21)
