Republican Governor Does Biden’s Job

While President Biden is busy raising taxes on the American people while also increasing inflation with excessive government spending, Republican Governor Ron DeSantis decided to give a gift the millions of families across the state of Florida.

According to Fox, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis issued a series of tax breaks for families while raising awareness about the inflation which was caused by his opponent Charlie Crist’s Democratic party.

DeSantis said in a recent press conference that he has granted $1.2 billion in tax relief for the current year. This tax relief will give breaks on some things such as baby-related purchases like diapers and wipes.

“What we’re going to do next year is we’re going to make that permanent, so that baby items, cribs, strollers, no tax on that,” DeSantis explained.

DeSantis then said, “We’re going to do no tax on school books, kids’ books. We’re going to do no tax on athletic equipment for kids. We’re going to do no tax on toys for 12 and under, We want families to do well.”

DeSantis is also lifting the taxes on pet food as well.

He explained to Americans, “And you see the inflation that we’re having to deal with because of all the stuff they’re doing in Washington. They printed trillions of dollars, they’re trying to kneecap energy production, of course you’re going to get inflation when you do those policies. And so inflation has not gone down, it went up the last month. Energy, unfortunately, is going to go up again between now and the end of the year, so this is pinching people, not just in Florida but all across the country[.]”

While this is great news for the people of Florida, Americans are frustrated that President Biden hasn’t given the same benefits as DeSantis to the rest of the United States.
