Putin Gets Economic Support
The problems continue to worsen.
Not long after President Biden decided to impose a serious of sanctions on Russia, China give a helping hand to Russia and lifted all of their previous wheat import restrictions on Russia.
According to Breitbart, China’s General Administration of Customs said in a statement, “Wheat from all of Russia’s producing regions will be cleared for export to China, provided they meet certain requirements.”
Russian wheat exports were initially under restrictions from China because Beijing was concerned about the transmission of an agricultural crop disease known as dwarf bunt.
“China will now accept wheat and barley from all over Russia, up from a previously allowed seven regions which excluded major growing areas,”Russia’s agriculture watchdog, Rosselkhoznadzor, stated.
This move comes as a big win for Russia who was going to face financial difficulties after President Biden and many other European countries imposed sanctions against them.
