Inflation Hits Biden’s Pockets

As inflation continues to soar in America, it is obvious that these costly spikes will affect even the White House. Now President Biden and his administration is asking the Pentagon to increase the United States’ defense budget for the next fiscal year.

According to Reuters, President Biden is asking for the highest Pentagon budget in American history for next year.

Biden will now ask Congress in the next few months for a defense budget base of more than $770 billion. Furthermore additional add-ons could push the ask to more than $800 billion for fiscal year 2023 starting Oct. 1.

Additionally, the Pentagon wants to use the extra funds for 2023 to “modernize” the military. They intend to upgrade a number of military assets including salaries, tanks, shipbuilding and jets.
