Biden Begs For Money
America is not Biden’s piggy bank.
President Biden and his administration are now asking Congress for an additional $30 billion to continue to try and fight COVID-19.
According to Fox Business, people close to Biden’s administration confirmed Biden wants to spend $17.9 billion on vaccines and other treatments, $4.9 billion for testing, $3 billion for uninsured coronavirus patients, and $3.7 billion to prepare for anymore new variants.
When asked about Biden’s request for more money, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki stated, “While we continue to have sufficient funds to respond to the current omicron surge in the coming weeks, our goal has always been to ensure that we are well prepared to stay ahead of the virus.”
Congress has already given President Biden and former President Donald Trump a combined amount of over $5.8 trillion to battle this virus.
