Railroad Strike Takes Major Turn
Here’s what could happen next…
As you likely already know, there is a major railroad strike which is looming over the United States. If the strike does happen, the U.S. supply chain will be severely disrupted right in the middle of the holiday season.
This is a major issue that President Biden must address and it looks like he has.
According to Fox, President Biden expressed confidence that he along with the railroad workers union and railroad companies will reach an agreement to avoid a massive strike.
Biden who didn’t sound very confident stated, “Congress, I think, has to act to prevent it. It’s not an easy call, but I think we have to do it. The economy is at risk.”
Reporters who were doubtful then asked President Biden if he was confident, he responded, “I am confident.”
A large number of business groups, who are very concerned about the potential strike, urged Congress to get involved in the negotiations and help the two groups reach an agreement.
