This economy could be in much better shape however President Biden and the Democrats simply won’t let it happen.
New data has been released which found that unemployment claims have risen to the highest level since August however they have still remained “somewhat low” as economist predict that there will be a recession in the near future.
According to The Hill, the Labor Department announced that 240,000 people applied for unemployment benefits which is an increase of about 17,000 when compared to last week. However the unemployment rate sits at 3.7 percent which is almost a 50-year low.
Even though inflation is currently at a 40 year high the unemployment rate is still surprisingly lower than expected.
A number of economic experts are still concerned that the United States is barreling towards a recession.
As you may already know, before President Biden came into office a recession was defined as “a fall in GDP for two successive quarters” however Democrats and the mainstream media are now working to change the definition to trick voters into not knowing the United States is in a recession.
