What Midterms Mean For America’s Economy
What were the voters most concerned about?
Both Democrats and Republicans have been pushing hard to win the midterms and both parties pushed a lot of talking points.
While Republicans ran focusing on the economy and what President Biden has done to raise inflation to scary new heights, Democrats focused on other things such as the January 6th Capitol riot along with women’s rights, political unrest and fear mongering.
During a recent interview with Fox, news contributor Joe Concha pointed out how Democrats ran solely on issues such as January 6 riots while Americans had bigger concerns such as inflation, taxes, crime, the border and education.
Concha explained, “This election is about inflation, taxes, crime, the border and education. And it ain’t about what they talk about on the other networks so much, which is January 6 and Donald Trump, and that’s a referendum on those two things when Trump hasn’t been in office in 21 months and that riot at the Capitol, which no one liked, happened 21 months ago. But that’s all Democrats could run on at this point.”
Concha went on to explain that unless Republicans win both the House and Senate this will not be considered a total victory for the Republican Party.
